Dr. Sam Beckett (Scott Bakula) "jumps" into the body of a minor league baseball player. Neal portrays Chucky Myerwich, a hotshot rookie who drinks too much and seems to be bent on self-destruction. Sam is determined to help Chucky get back on the right track.
